2023 All-MLB teams, Hank Aaron Award winners announced

Major League Baseball announced the fourth annual All-MLB teams Saturday, with 16 players each making up the first and second teams.

Here's a look at the full selections:

1st-team hitters

The Braves, Dodgers, and Rangers each had two representatives on the first team. Both Freeman and Semien earned the second first-team honors of their careers.

Cole was named to his third All-MLB first team in the past four seasons after winning his first career Cy Young for the Yankees in 2023. Snell, Gallen, and Strider all earned the first All-MLB nods of their careers.

The Braves, Rangers, and Astros all had two players selected to the second team. Judge was named for the third straight season after first-team nods in 2021 and 2022.

Gausman was also a second-team member in 2021 with the San Francisco Giants. Gray had a terrific season in 2023, finishing runner-up to Cole in AL Cy Young voting.

Hank Aaron Award

Shohei Ohtani and Ronald Acuña Jr. won this year's Hank Aaron Awards. The award is given annually to the best overall offensive performers in each league.

Ohtani paced all hitters with a 1.066 OPS for the Angels last season. He also hit an AL-best 44 home runs to go with 20 stolen bases.

Acuña became the first player in MLB history to hit at least 40 home runs and steal at least 70 bases in a season. He also led the league in hits (217), runs (149), and total bases (383).
