The Toronto Blue Jays signed veteran utility player Isiah Kiner-Falefa to a two-year, $15-million contract on Friday.
The 28-year-old is no stranger to the AL East, having spent the past two seasons with the New York Yankees.
Kiner-Falefa is a versatile defender who made appearances at second base, third base, shortstop, and all three outfield spots last season.
He slashed .242/.306/.340 with six home runs, 37 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases over 113 games in 2023.
Kiner-Falefa's best season came in 2020, when he hit .280 and won a Gold Glove as a member of the Texas Rangers.
