San Jose State's Tibet Gorener: Struggles vs. Bulldogs
Gorener provided six points (2-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 69-57 loss to Fresno State.
Analysis:
Gorener has now posted three consecutive games scoring less than 10 points, shooting just 25 percent from the field over that stretch. The 6-foot-9 junior has had the best season of his collegiate career thus far, starting all 23 of the Spartans' games and averaging 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Gorener's next opportunity to take the court comes on Feb. 9, as San Jose State travels to Fort Collins to take on Colorado State.
