Gibson originally wanted to give the youngster one day in the lineup during this past series with San Francisco, but instead Owings had 11 at-bats, collecting four hits and a walk. With the Diamondbacks all but eliminated from the postseason, Owings can be expected to see more playing time, although Arizona's shortstop situation is one that should be avoided down the fantasy stretch.
