The Toronto Blue Jays traded right-hander Mitch White to the San Francisco Giants for cash considerations Saturday.
Toronto had designated White for assignment earlier in the week.
The Blue Jays acquired White and Alex De Jesus in August 2022 from the Los Angeles Dodgers for Moises Brito and Nick Frasso.
White made 24 appearances (eight starts) across parts of three seasons in Toronto, posting a 7.26 ERA, 1.69 WHIP, and 50 strikeouts over 65 2/3 innings.
The 29-year-old pitched 10 innings of relief for the club this campaign, allowing six runs and four walks while striking out six.
