Philadelphia Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz made an incredible backhanded glove save against the Washington Nationals on Saturday night, in a critical situation.

Ruiz's pick with two outs and two runners on in the bottom of the ninth essentially saved the game for the Phillies, who won the game moments later when Wilson Ramos grounded out to shortstop Jimmy Rollins.
Jonathan Papelbon allowed a hit, a walk and nearly had a costly wild pitch, but picked up his 27th save of the season.
With the loss, the Nationals fell to 5.5 games back in the National League wildcard race.
