With the fifth pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, the Chicago White Sox selected Hagen Smith, a left-hander from Arkansas.
The 20-year-old is the top southpaw available and has some of the best stuff among any of the pitchers in this draft, touching 100 mph with his fastball and featuring a devastating slider.
