Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw will make his 2024 debut against the San Francisco Giants on Thursday, manager Dave Roberts announced Saturday.

Kershaw has been out for the entire 2024 campaign after undergoing shoulder surgery last November. The 36-year-old re-signed in the offseason with the Dodgers on a one-year, $10-million contract with a player option for 2025.

Kershaw made three rehab starts, posting a 3.60 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and 12 strikeouts across 10 innings.

Roberts also announced that right-hander Tyler Glasnow will be reinstated from the injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Giants. Glasnow went on the 15-day injured list on July 9 with back tightness, missing a chance to participate in his first career All-Star Game.
