The Atlanta Braves are going to get a big boost as they attempt to secure a playoff berth with nine games remaining in the season.
Atlanta activated second baseman Ozzie Albies from the injured list Friday, the team announced.
Albies hasn't played since July 21 after fracturing his wrist trying to prevent a stolen base.
