Report: Blue Jays fire hitting coach Martinez

The Toronto Blue Jays are parting ways with hitting coach Guillermo Martinez after six seasons, sources told Sportsnet's Shi Davidi.
The Blue Jays struggled offensively this campaign, ranking 23rd in the league in runs scored and 26th in home runs. The club also finished below average in OPS.
Martinez oversaw strong offensive seasons as Toronto's hitting coach before the club regressed over the past few years.
