Giancarlo Stanton hit his seventh home run of the playoffs, setting the New York Yankees' all-time franchise record for most homers in a single postseason.

Stanton crushed an opposite-field solo home run off Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Ryan Brasier to give the Yankees a 5-0 lead in Game 5 of the World Series.

The slugger moved past Bernie Williams, who hit six home runs during New York's run to the 1996 World Series.

Stanton also tied Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle for third on the Yankees' all-time postseason home run list with 18.

The 34-year-old has been a terror for opposing pitchers in the postseason and won ALCS MVP in New York's five-game victory over the Cleveland Guardians.
