The Colorado Rockies non-tendered second baseman Brendan Rodgers and right-hander Cal Quantrill, the club announced Friday.
Rodgers was projected to earn $5.5 million next season in his final year of arbitration, according to MLB Trade Rumors.
The 28-year-old was the third overall pick in the 2015 MLB draft. Rodgers posted a .726 OPS with 45 home runs, 92 doubles, and 197 RBIs over six seasons with the Rockies.
Quantrill was projected to make $9 million in his final season of arbitration. The Rockies acquired the 29-year-old from the Cleveland Guardians in November 2023.
Quantrill went 8-11 with a 4.98 ERA and 110 strikeouts across 148 1/3 innings in 2024.
