Teams interested in signing free-agent shortstop Willy Adames will have to open their wallets in a big way.

Adames is seeking a long-term deal in the $150-million to $200-million range, sources told ESPN's Jesse Rogers.

The 29-year-old Dominican has positioned himself to become one of the hottest commodities in free agency after a career year with the Milwaukee Brewers last season. He posted 4.8 fWAR with career highs in home runs (32), RBIs (112), runs scored (93), doubles (33), and stolen bases (21).

Adames is also a proven winner, appearing in the postseason on five separate occasions with the Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays.

"Everywhere he's been, they've won," Chicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson told Rogers. "He's a gamer."

Adames, who's reportedly willing to change positions in the right situation, has been connected to the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Toronto Blue Jays this offseason.
