The Texas Rangers signed right-hander Jacob Webb to a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

The deal is reportedly worth $1.25 million, according to MLB.com's Kennedi Landry.

Webb authored a 3.02 ERA with 1.18 WHIP and 58 strikeouts over 56 2/3 innings for the Baltimore Orioles last season.

The 31-year-old right-hander ranked in the 91st percentile in off-speed run value, 84th percentile in average exit velocity, and 82nd percentile in hard-hit rate in 2024, according to Baseball Savant.

The move should help a Texas bullpen that finished with the sixth-lowest fWAR in the majors.
