The Washington Nationals signed right-handed reliever Jorge López to a one-year deal Saturday.
López is set to earn $3 million in 2025, according to Andrew Golden of the Washington Post.
The 31-year-old posted a 2-3 record with a 2.89 ERA and 50 strikeouts across 53 innings with the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs last season.
López's best season came in 2022 when he made his only All-Star Game as a member of the Baltimore Orioles.
