Report: Diamondbacks add Graveman on 1-year, $1.35M deal

The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.35 million with reliever Kendall Graveman, sources told ESPN's Jesse Rogers.

The value of the deal can increase up to $3.3 million through performance bonuses, Rogers reports.

Graveman, 34, hasn't pitched since 2023 after missing all of last season due to a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder.

The right-hander was effective when he last pitched, working to a 3.12 ERA and 1.31 WHIP with a 9.0 K/9 over 66 1/3 innings split between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros.

He gives the Diamondbacks another high-leverage arm to deploy out of the bullpen alongside Justin Martinez and A.J. Puk.

Graveman owns a 3.95 ERA and 1.33 WHIP for his 10-year career.
