It was a night to remember for Chicago Cubs catcher Carson Kelly.
Kelly hit for the cycle Monday against the Athletics in the franchise's first game in Sacramento.

Kelly ripped an RBI triple in the top of the eighth inning to complete the cycle. It's the first cycle for the Cubs since Mark Grace in May 1993.
"I've been in this same position before where I needed a triple for the cycle," Kelly said postgame, according to Janie McCauley of The Associated Press. "If anybody's ever looked up my numbers, I have two triples, so odds are not in my favor, right?
"I didn't get it done the first time. This time I'm like, oh, I'm just going to put a good at-bat together. Hit it, like, 'Oh yeah, pretty good.' Then I hit first and saw it ricochet, and I was like, 'Oh boy, this is it right here, I gotta go.' That's probably the fastest you'll ever see me run."
The 30-year-old homered to lead off the top of the fourth, singled home a pair of runs in the fifth, and doubled in the sixth. Kelly is the 18th catcher to hit for the cycle in MLB history.
The veteran backstop signed a two-year, $11.5-million contract with the Cubs in December.
The Cubs went on to finish off an 18-3 blowout of the Athletics, who held their home opener at Sacramento's Sutter Health Park.
