With the fourth pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, the Colorado Rockies selected Ethan Holliday, an infielder from Stillwater High School in Oklahoma.
The 18-year-old is the son of former big-leaguer Matt Holliday and the younger brother of Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday, who was selected first overall in 2022.

Holliday was considered the top position player in the draft and is under the guidance of super agent Scott Boras. His terrific high school career ended with him being named Gatorade's Player of the Year in Oklahoma after he batted .611 with 19 home runs and a ridiculous 2.038 OPS for Stillwater.
