New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge isn't overreacting to a rough patch at the plate.

"That's baseball," Judge said following Wednesday's loss to the Los Angeles Angels, per SNY. "You hit two balls hard today and don't get rewarded for it. Like I said, I gotta show up tomorrow and just do my job. That's about it."

Judge added that he isn't dealing with any mechanical issues, saying he "always feels good."

The 33-year-old was hitless in four at-bats with a pair of strikeouts as the Yankees lost a sixth consecutive game Wednesday.

Judge has seen his batting average drop 26 points during the six-game skid, and he's mustered just two hits in 23 at-bats with 14 strikeouts over that span.

"I think you guys asked us the same questions last June when we were going through it," Judge said. "Guys have been there. You always gotta show up and not mope about it. If you mope, you pout, it's going to lead into the next game."

Yankees manager Aaron Boone has still seen some good things from Judge at the plate despite a lack of results and disputed the notion that he's in the middle of a slump.

"It's a hard game," Boone said, according to SNY. "I don't know if I really see it that way. He's not going to get two hits every day. ... It happens."

The recent rough patch has seen the Yankees' lead in the American League East shrink to 1 1/2 games over the Tampa Bay Rays.
