Guardians' Arias carted off after sustaining ankle injury

Cleveland Guardians shortstop Gabriel Arias was carted off the field after sustaining a left ankle injury against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, the team announced.
X-rays came back negative for a fracture.
Arias suffered the injury when he attempted to make a sliding grab on Masyn Winn's grounder in the third inning.

Daniel Schneemann replaced Arias at shortstop.
The Venezuelan shortstop owns a .231/.293/.369 slash line with 17 doubles, 31 RBIs, and three defensive runs saved in 77 games this season.
