The Tigers are the biggest risers on the oddsboard with their MLB-best 59-38 record. They entered the year at +3000 and have shortened drastically to +700. Detroit had four starters in the All-Star Game, including starting pitcher Tarik Skubal, who's the -210 favorite to win the AL Cy Young. Riley Greene, Gleyber Torres, and Javier Báez are all having some of the best seasons of their careers.
The Yankees and Phillies were among the top five on the oddsboard prior to the campaign and are still viewed similarly by the betting market, with both firmly in the playoff picture.
However, the Braves are far from where they were before the season started. They were the second favorite at +800 at the beginning of the year but are now +15000 after a brutal first half. Atlanta sits at 42-53, 12.5 games behind the Phillies in the NL East, and now faces +1100 (8.3% implied probability) to even make the playoffs.

The Orioles take the crown for the team having the most disappointing campaign. Baltimore and its core of young stars entered the season with the sixth-best odds at +1200 before plummeting to +20000. The Orioles occupy the basement of the AL East at 43-52, 11.5 games behind the division-leading Blue Jays.
The Diamondbacks and Guardians are having equally forgettable seasons. Both teams were +2500 ahead of the year and are now considered +10000 long shots.
There's still plenty of baseball left, but the cream has risen to the top, and the betting market believes there are roughly eight teams with a decent chance to win it all.
