Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is considered day-to-day after leaving Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers following a hit by a pitch on his wrist.

The Dodgers announced Freeman had a left wrist contusion after he walked over to the dugout and down the tunnel.

Freeman underwent X-rays and the results came back negative.

"Obviously, when you see him walk off the field like that, very concerning. But the X-rays were negative," Roberts said, according to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times.

"Putting him in the day-to-day category."

The 35-year-old was 0-for-2 with two strikeouts before getting hit by the pitch.

Freeman owns a .292/.365/.471 slash line with 10 home runs, 26 doubles, and 49 RBIs this season.
