Kershaw frustrated by Dodgers' play: 'We need to win a game'
Clayton Kershaw isn't pleased by the recent play of the Los Angeles Dodgers after they lost their third straight game to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.
"I'm frustrated. We're all frustrated," Kershaw said following the 6-5 defeat, according to SportsNet LA. "I don't know how else to say it. We need to win a game, no excuses, just play better."
Kershaw allowed three runs (one earned) over 4 1/3 innings in Sunday's loss, which was Los Angeles' 10th defeat in its last 12 games.
The Brewers have been particularly tough on the Dodgers this season, sweeping the season series against the reigning World Series champions.
Struggling Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts was responsible for the last out of the game, lining out to center fielder Blake Perkins to leave the bases loaded.
Betts, who was moved into the leadoff spot by manager Dave Roberts for Sunday's contest, admitted also feeling frustrated with the team's play.

The Dodgers hold a 3.5-game lead over the San Diego Padres for top spot in the NL West following Sunday's loss and are set to host the Minnesota Twins for a three-game series beginning Monday at Dodger Stadium.
