Woo was diagnosed with pectoral tightness, manager Dan Wilson said postgame, according to MLB.com's Daniel Kramer. The starter will undergo an MRI on Saturday.
Woo, who was pitching a one-hit shutout, departed with the Mariners leading 2-0. He was replaced by Eduard Bazardo, who threw two scoreless innings before Matt Brash and Andrés Muñoz completed the final two frames.
The 25-year-old Woo owns a 15-7 record and 2.94 ERA. He's pitched at least five innings in every start and has thrown six innings or more in 27 of his 30 outings this season.
The Mariners took sole possession of first place in the AL West with Friday's victory.
