Manny Ramirez Jr. to play baseball at the University of San Francisco
Famed slugger Manny Ramirez always enjoyed hitting in San Francisco, posting 1.168 OPS over 17 career games in the Bay Area. Hopefully, that predisposition is hereditary.
According to Fox Sports, Manny Ramirez Jr. will transfer from an Arizona community college to the University of San Francisco next season, his first taste of Division-1 NCAA baseball.
The first baseman earned a spot on the 2013 Florida All Region First Team, hitting .331 with 11 doubles, two triples, and three home runs at the IMG Academy.
