A four-time Gold Glove award winner, Hudson last appeared in the majors in 2012, when he hit .204/.261/.312, posting a career-low 55 wRC+, with just three home runs over 86 games between the Padres and White Sox.
Known affectionately as O-Dog, the switch-hitter owns a career .280/.350/.423 line against right-handed pitching. Hudson, who turns 36 later this month, spent the majority of his career at second base, but did log 29 games at third base with the White Sox in 2012.
