The eight-year veteran's first season in Minnesota was a bit of a disappointment. Pelfrey went 5-13 and posted a 5.19 ERA in 152 2/3 innings, while striking out 101 and walking 53.
Pelfrey will join a rotation that already features Ricky Nolasco, Phil Hughes and Kevin Correia.
