This Munenori Kawasaki sketch is the unofficial MVP of the universe
One year ago, it seemed that there were all the reasons in the world to watch the Toronto Blue Jays.
By season's end, there was just one. Munenori Kawasaki was named one of The Grid's 2013 Mensch Award winners, an award for those who made Toronto a better place.
According to the intro, mensch means “a person of integrity or honour” in Yiddish.
Though Kawasaki's descriptive paragraph for the award hardly pays him the proper amount of respect for batting practice yoga sessions or dugout dancing, we couldn't agree more that his addition to the Blue Jays was a shining light in a cold, concrete building full of broken dreams.
Oh, and his Mensch illustration is the unofficial MVP of all things right and good in the world.
