Daisuke Matsuzaka has more than a million reasons to make the Mets:
Matsuzaka's #Mets contract is for $1.5M if he makes majors.

Sure, Matsuzaka's made over $51 million in his career so far, but every million counts (we assume).
The man affectionately known as Dice-K "will compete with left-hander John Lannan and right-hander Jenrry Mejia for a rotation role," writes ESPN's Adam Rubin.
The Star-Ledger's Andy McCullough said it best about the Mets re-signing Matsuzaka: "Tickets are still available." They certainly are.
