The 37-year-old provides the Marlins with a defensively solid additional outfielder who can play all three positions but is limited at the plate. Last season, the right-handed hitter batted .244/.311/.341 with one home run and 11 RBI in 74 games. Johnson struggled to hit right-handed pitching, posting a .206/.299/.338 average with 17 strikeouts in 68 at bats.
