President Obama compares Farm Bill to Angels OF Mike Trout
President Obama is apparently a big fan of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout.
Obama passed a nearly $1 trillion farm bill Friday and used an analogy of a Swiss Army Knife to describe the many implications of it. He took it one step further by referencing Trout.
"It's like Mike Trout -- for those of you who like baseball," he said in reference to Trout's stature as a complete, five-tool player.
The passing of the bill will ease the burden on farmers across the country, but the budget for the food stamp program has been trimmed significantly as a result.
