Aaron Cook News
Cook allowed five runs (three earned) on four hits, walking one and striking out one over 6.1 innings of a 7-3 loss to Toronto on Saturday night.
He was in control before Edwin Encarnacion launched a game-tying two-run home run in the sixth inning, and then things went from bad to worse as he again ran into trouble in the seventh. Cook is an extreme ground ball pitcher, and bad things happen when he gets the ball up as he did later on in this outing. He'll face another tough challenge in his next outing against the Yankees in New York.
