New instant replay rules won't be used for Australia series
The new instant replay rules are being tested in Spring Training, but won't be used in the season openers in Australia between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.
Tony Clark said 2013 instant replay rules will apply to the games in Australia, indicated it was not feasible to use new technology there.

The infrastructure at the Sydney Cricket Ground isn't up to the standards of major league parks.
Instant replay will make its MLB regular-season debut on March 30 when the Dodgers play their third game of the season in San Diego.
