Former Reds reliever Bill Bray retires

After six major league seasons, left-handed reliever Bill Bray has announced his retirement.

Bray, who hasn't pitched since 2012 due to a shoulder injury, intended to play again before suffering another setback.
The 30-year-old spent the majority of his career with Cincinnati, making 239 of his 258 appearances with the Reds. Bray finishes having thrown 197 1/3 innings while collecting a 3.74 ERA to go with 188 strikeouts.
