Cardinals' minor-league team to wear Egypt-themed uniforms

Minor league teams will do anything these days to one-up each other. Bacon uniforms? Done. Selfie uniforms? Done.

Next: Egypt-themed uniforms for the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the Cardinals, as a far-fetched tribute to a display at the Memphis Zoo.

Apparently, the hieroglyphics spell out "Memphis" on the front.
