Selected in the 45th round of the 2011 draft, Scioscia compiled a disappointing .194/.248/.224 line with no home runs over 40 games last season between Rookie Ball, the Midwest League, and the California League.
Gretzky, meanwhile, a seventh-round selection in 2011, hit .274/.300/.333 with one homer over 41 games between the Northwest League and the Midwest League.
