Matt Moore: Hit By Comebacker Sunday

Moore was carted from the dugout to the clubhouse after being hit in the jaw by a comebacker on Sunday.

Analysis:

Moore pitched four hitless innings and gave up four walks before being hit in the jaw, and while he walked off the field under his own power, the team had him carted to the clubhouse. A later report from Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times indicated he is showing no signs of a concussion but does have a laceration on his lip.
