GIF: Michael Wacha injures a pair on single pitch

Michael Wacha has one of the fine young arms in the game, as Ryan Ludwick and umpire Kerwin Daley found out the hard way Wednesday night.

Wacha loads up a high fastball hit and tight to Ludwick, hitting him in the hand, and the deflection nails Daley right in the head.

Ludwick needed to get his hand checked by team trainers and Daley was seeing stars for a few minutes.

Both victims elected to shake off their respective injuries and remain in the game.
