Just when you think Bartolo Colon mastered the art of hitting, he goes out and makes a fool of himself.

Colon's previous swing almost caused the helmet to fall off as well and, as one might expect, Colon went on to strike out and failed to add to his 10 career hits.

Given the general hilarity of Colon's at-bats, even the Mets Twitter account joined in on the joke, and poked some fun at the expense of their pitcher's feeble effort at the plate.
