Blue Jays option Ryan Goins to Triple-A; expected to call-up Chris Getz
Blue Jays infielder Ryan Goins' inability to hit the ball has landed him back in Triple-A.

After impressing Blue Jays management last season, hitting .252/.264/.345 with a pair of home runs and eight RBI in 34 games, Goins struggled in 2014, batting just .150/.203/.217 with 13 strikeouts in 60 at-bats.
While the team has yet to announce the corresponding roster move, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi is reporting that the Blue Jays will bring up former Kansas City Royal Chris Getz.
The six-year veteran, who signed a minor-league deal with Toronto in January, is batting .309/.382/.338 with two doubles and nine RBI through 18 games in Triple-A this season.
Munenori Kawasaki was a potential candidate, but like Goins, is unable to get it done at the plate so far this season, hitting .189/.205/.216 in 37 at-bats with Buffalo.
