Rangers' Darvish posts shortest start of MLB career

Rangers right-hander Yu Darvish set a personal record Monday night against the Athletics for the wrong reason.
Darvish lasted just 3 1/3 innings, surrendering four runs off two walks and six hits while throwing 83 pitches.
Yu Darvish had thrown 56 consecutive starts of five innings or more before #Athletics knocked him out after 3.1. It was #Rangers record.

Oakland has given the Rangers' ace fits over his four-year career. In eight starts entering Monday, Darvish is 1-6 with a 4.32 ERA and 1.4 WHIP over 50 innings against the Athletics.
Darvish's previous shortest start came May 21, 2012 when he lasted four innings while surrendering four earned runs and six walks against the Mariners.
