With Prince Fielder on the sideline Saturday for the first time in 547 games, Hunter Pence owns Major League Baseball's best attendance record.
The San Francisco Giants outfielder is playing in his 215th consecutive game, the longest active streak in the league.
Fielder suffered a herniated disk in his neck, and will be out of the Texas Rangers lineup for at least the next two games, bringing his 547-game streak to an end. The 30-year-old first baseman played 162 games in three consecutive seasons from 2009 to 2013.
