New York Mets ace Matt Harvey, who abruptly deleted his Twitter account last month after the club scolded him for broadcasting a controversial picture, is ready to revive his social media presence.

The 25-year-old right-hander drew the ire of Mets officials after tweeting a picture of himself making an obscene gesture moments before undergoing Tommy John surgery. Harvey refused to apologize for the incident, but still opted to delete his account shortly thereafter.

Harvey, who underwent the infamous ligament replacement procedure in October, has repeatedly stated his desire to return this season, and hopes to makes as many as five to seven starts before the campaign ends.
