Votto will go through a full workout for a second straight day and appears to be progressing towards a minor league rehab assignment. He looked "strong" on Thursday fielding ground balls and participating in batting practice according to manager Bryan Price. The injury apparently could keep him at less that 100 percent for the remainder of the season, but Votto's presence in the lineup and ability with the bat will provide a boost to a Reds' lineup that has struggled until recently.
