The Seattle Mariners reportedly agreed to terms on Wednesday with Alex Jackson, the sixth overall pick in the 2014 First-Year Player Draft, according to MLB.com's Jim Callis.

Jackson's signing bonus appears to be in excess of $4 million, according to Callis, a notable increase over the pre-determined value of the sixth overall selection.

Widely considered one of the top prep hitters in this year's class, Jackson hit .400/.579/.880 with 11 home runs and eight stolen bases for San Diego's Rancho Bernardo High School in 2014.
