Bautista, Tulowitzki to captain AL, NL Home Run Derby squads
The captains have been announced for the 2014 Home Run derby, with Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista representing the American League, and Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki repping the National League.

This is the fourth year the Derby has used captains, who select the other participants from their respective leagues, and personally invite them.

It's hard to argue with the captain selections. Tulowitzki leads the majors in OPS (1.099), and is second in the NL with 18 home runs. Bautista sits fifth in OPS (.959) with 15 home runs. It will be the third appearance in the competition for Bautista, and the first for Tulowitzki.
The two also currently lead their respective leagues in All-Star votes.
