Baltimore Orioles outfielder David Lough was on track to possibly score the winning run on a single by Nick Markakis to deep right centre in the bottom of the 12th, but that didn't happen.
Lough tripped and fell rounding the bases, erasing any chance of him scoring.

The baseball gods were on his side however, as he scored just minutes later on a wild pitch by the White Sox Daniel Webb.
