Blue Jays claim Gillespie, DFA Wilson

The Toronto Blue Jays claimed outfielder Cole Gillespie off waivers from the Seattle Mariners, the team announced Saturday.

The right-handed hitting outfielder slashed .254/.312/.324 in 34 games with the Mariners.

To make room on the 40-man roster, Toronto designated Kenny Wilson for assignment.
