VIDEO: Korean baseball player slides into 3rd with his face

Not head first, face first.

Lotte Giants infielder Hwang Jae Gyun of the Korean Baseball Organization found out the hard way that baseball dirt does not feel good when you drag your face across it at a high speed.

Hwang has 11 stolen bases this season (albeit in 19 attempts), according to his KBO player page. Let's hope for the sake of his face this was an isolated incident.
