Rangers to activate Geovany Soto this weekend
The Texas Rangers will have veteran catcher Geovany Soto in uniform this weekend for the first time this season, according to Anthony Andro of Fox Sports Southwest.

The 31-year-old missed the first half of the season after undergoing surgery in March to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. Soto, who was was arrested last week on a charge of marijuana possession, will split catching duties with Robinson Chirinos.
Soto, an All-Star in 2008, hit .245/.328/.466 (114 OPS+) with nine home runs and nine doubles in 54 games last season.
